Installation into Masonry

  • 1.

Measure and mark the screw points in the desired installation location.

This dimension is found on the product label or you can measure the distance between the screw holes on the hook rack.

  • 2.

Ensure your marks are level and at the correct distance.

  • 3.

Screw in the included mounting hardware.

Leave the screws protruding from the surface 3-5mm to provide an anchor for the hook rack to rest on.

  • 4.

    Hang your hook rack.

Ensure it has 'slotted' down onto the screws correctly before hanging any items.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size drill bit do I need to pre-drill?

If installing into timber a 2mm drill bit is required.

If installing into drywall a 9mm drill bit is required.

If installing into concrete a 6.5mm masonry drill bit is required.

Do I have to use the plugs that come with it?

Depending on your installation location you may need to use the included wall plugs.

The Drywall plugs are required for hook racks that are being installed directly into walls without any framing or studs behind. The plugs expand up installation to distribute the weight of the hook rack and items hung evenly.

The Masonry plugs are required if installing into brick or concrete to give your surface a suitable anchor for your hook rack.

If installing into timber, or drywall with studs behind, the screws are all that are required.
